MA5BA4 Assault Rifle — Description

arguably one of the most popular products of Forge Manufacturing, the ma5b assault rifle is the workhorse of the unsc marine corps and continues to be beloved today as when it was introduced, as the ma40 is the newly adopted rifle by the unsc army the marine corps found the rifle lacking the same firepower and stopping power as the ma5b as a result many marine corps commanders and naval commanders of the unsc navy who have large surplus of ma5b rifles went to the new company and asked to make the ma5b a rifle on par and better then the ma40, as a result the ma5BA4 was born and had completed testing in 2555 and has begun to appear among unsc marine frontline troops more frequently as of 2558, while the rifle utilizes the same base as the ma5 what sets it apart is its adaptive fire trigger selector switch, allowing it to fire full auto, semi automatic like the battle rifle, and a semi automatic for single shots, another change is done to the magazine holder, which was modified to allow marines to use the ma5Bs 60 round capacity magazines, but also the 32 round magazines of the C variant, and 36 round magazines of the ma40 allowing marines to carry a multitude of different magazines for either suppressing fire, cover fire, or the spray and pray method, along with an updated ammo counter and compass, the A4 also comes equipped with the same computer system that allows the armor to synch to the targeting eyepieces of marines, the aiming function in Mjolnir armor, and even the command neural interface used by naval captains or marine commanders, as forge puts it, it puts an old workhorse new life in a new era.
