A Steller's sea eagle/snow leopard griffin with snazzy jewelry. Part 2 of this assignment:
The idea was to design a character somehow based on the animal we'd chosen to render.
I didn't want to do a griffin at first, mainly because that's all I do these days...I tried to fight it, but in the end....I went with a griffin after all
Ink and watercolor with a few hints of color pencil on roughpress paper
