Creature Concept — Description
I've been working on her for a few days now, messing with different types of neck, leg, foots, and head shapes, tail lengths, coloration, patterns. I'm satisfied with everything that is drawn.... but I feel like something's missing.........

One of the things I could add is a mane..... but length would be a question. I want to give her some way besides the final few feet of her tail and her ears to express her emotions but I don't know what to add. Help please?

EDIT I've decided to give her a horse like mane, with out a forelock. Its normally cropped short, but if left to grow it goes to the other length shown. Pretty sure that's as long as it will get for the species if I make a species out of her. But who knows.
