"Police sirens, followed by whooshing energy sounds."
- Transformation announcement
- Lore Story:
In the year 2084, the city of Technovalley, along with Detroit, has become the world's leading manufacture city, when it comes to robots… Robots with human like emotions, and are given lawful rights, just like humans.
But there are still those humans, and robots, who believe that the other should have more rights than the other, and have therefore turned to a life of crime.
For those who can't accept humans and robots as equals, there is the Vector Cops. A special police force, with special experience in dealing with both criminal humans and robots. And their main asset, are the Power Rangers Vector Cops, bringing order to a high-tech world of machine related crimes.
(These Rangers, just like the S.P.D. Rangers, don't hide their identities from the public, since they are officers of the law.)

- Character Story:
Tyler Leiter was the son of a laser weapons dealer, when a gang of criminal robots arrived and demanded protection money from his father. When Tyler's dad didn't pay, they plundered their store of all the laser weapons, and set fire to the store. Tyler was so devastated, with seeing his father's store… Their home… In flames, that he vowed to take down all the criminal robots in town.

So, when he heard about the Vector Cops academy, he couldn't resist handing in a request to join the force. He did, and graduated with some of the best scores in the history of the academy.

As the Blue Ranger, Tyler is second in command, and is the best strategist of the team. He always thinks practically, and very seldom misses even the smallest details. He does sometimes have troubles looking outside the box of the Vector Cops rulebook, however. But what he lacks in ability to improvise, he makes up for, with a strong determination to uphold the law.
