I will confess that there is a great deal of personal feelings that go into the last few panels. I too was subjected to the hospital, mine was in the for of a martial arts accident and I had to go into surgery. I first had to drive in without pain meds, and I felt everyΒ bump on that long drive over. Then when they administered said medication, I kept nodding off and would stop breathing. This resulted in the several alarms sounding and me being shaken awake by frantic nurses.
I'm not sure who had it worse, as this happened three times during the night while we waited for the meds to wear off.
