Amenii tried to rise, grunting with the exertion she managed almost an inch before sinking back down on her haunches. Belly swaying precariously before her, she had to lean back again to prevent herself from falling over. Letting out a low, ‘Oooowwwffff.’ As she settled, her hands instinctively reached out to cup her swollen belly.The twins were quiet today, and for that she was grateful, their kicking had kept her up all last night and in turn this had kept Nera up as well. Knowing how she got when she was unable to put in a solid eight hours, Amenii had made a note to stay out of her lovers way, or at least until she got a nap in. That coupled with her limited mobility, and the ever growing list of tasks she was forbidden to do, Amenii found herself growing restless. No board, ‘Don’t over exert yourself, don’t try and reach that jar in the cupboards, don’t walk down the stairs unassisted…’ the list just when on and on. Finally causing Amenii to have a break down, screaming at Nera and the doctor that she was quite capable of handling herself! If only they could see you now, she though bitterly.
‘Nera?’ Amenii called, ‘Are you awake?’
A muttered growl came from the living room, indistinct, followed by a slight laps in Nera’s deep breaths. Asleep, and quite soundly from her breathing. Sighing Amenii shook her head, deciding not to wake the sleeping predator. Instead, scooching across the floor to her cell phone, she began scrolling through the contacts. It had been so long, and yet, no visitors…
Eyes falling one in particular, she smiled, it had been too long sense she had heard from him. Punching in his number, she waited, waited, then frowned as the phone went to voice mail. ‘- leave a message after the beep…’
A little putout, Amenii stumbled for words.
‘Uh…Hi, Its Amenii, I…I just haven’t seen you in a long time, and well…I was hoping to get together, that is…if you aren’t busy with a photo shoot or something. Please call me, I, I miss you Jack.’
Snapping her phone shut, Amenii buried her palms into her face.
‘Great, I sound like a raving idiot…’

'Well that was an endeavor.' She mumbles, extending her hand up for tachi to take.

Leaning on you heavily Amenii manages a slow walk across the apartment to their bedroom. Extracting a set of panties, she slips them in, and after trying and failing with a now greatly undersized braw, forgoes it and pulls a t-shirt over her head. One set of yoga pants later and she seems more comfortable, despite having a too tight t-shirt.
' Nera - Nera is asleep on the couch, She had a rough night and needs the rest. She's been under a lot of stress and even shebcan get grouchy when sleep deprived.'

Motioning for you to give her a moment, as the act of going down the stairs has drained her temporary, and she leans heavily on you, her belly swaying. ‘I, oooh, I think I know why though, her mother, Nera’s mom – well, she had a hard time with child birth…’ Amenii’s expression becomes a mixture of sympathy and concern as she looks up at you. ‘A Real hard time.’

‘Yeah.’ Amenii, wrapping her hands around your arm, nods in the direction she want to start walking, angling you down the street to one of the open markets going on. ‘Did you know she, Nera, has three sisters? Three. Apparently after the first it gets easier, but her mother nearly died in labor. I’m pretty sure Nera’s having flash backs due to my pregnancy.’
Blowing out a sigh, she gives her head a little shake.
‘She’s still mad at that I chose to use a hyena donner without telling her.’ Waving one hand in exasperation, ‘But she said she didn’t want a whole dozen little bunnies running around either – that it was going to be too much for her to handle. Eeeerrrrhhhh.’ Using her free hand she palmed her face rubbing her nose in frustration.

Reading into your shocked expression, Amenii smiles, focusing on the idea that Nera has siblings and completely overlooking your concern for her unhealthy life choices regarding how much her body can take. ‘I know right? I always though Nera was a single child, or was given up for adoption by a family of pyknotic wolverines, or the equivalent of anyways.’
Around you the crowd of mammals begins to grow, various vendors selling all types of goods can be seen down the street. It seems the onset of the cold has spurred the fall festivals to kick into high gear as to beat the snow.
‘I’m supposed to go meet then for Christmas, I just hope it goes over better than when I introduced Nera to my parents at thanksgiving.’

With your help, a lot of it, mostly consisting of you lifting Amenii off the ground and sitting her on the bench like a child, as she is to swollen to attempt the climb herself, Amenii situates herself watching people go by. Now and again a few mammals gawk, point, and openly stare at her swollen state, most seem to focus on Amenii, then on you, and whisper. You can catch a few phrases as they go by:
‘Such an odd couple…’
‘Oh god, look at how Big she is…’
‘I wonder how…’
'How did they...'
‘Is that even possible…’
Amenii ignores them, instead looking out at the bustling crowds, legs kicking in the air. ‘Well, it, umh…’
‘It sort of was like – a controlled explosion, well that’s how it should have been. I managed to convince Nera to wear something conservative, a green dress, she even wrapped her chest as to not look to, uhm…’ Amenii’s had circles, until you nod your understanding. ‘Well, my mother, she sort of doesn’t like Nera from the start, and had ‘Forgotten’ her invitation, so when I showed up at her doorstep with Nera in tow, she wasn’t to happy.’

What ever Amenii was expecting, this was clearly not it, and it causes her to pause, her brain slowly absorbing and processing the information. Then looking at you in a new light, her brows knit, ‘I’m sorry.’ Her hand moves to find yours, covering it affectionally. ‘I know you aren’t the only one, I’ve seen at least one other. I always thought your species was a little rare though, but I never put much thought to why.’
‘I…’ At a loss for words, Amenii does what she feels right, shuffles over to you, and wraps her arms around you. ‘You have me, though don’t you?’
Her little bunny mind kicking into high gear,
‘A-and Nera, and what about Jayde, Faith, and… Syi.’
