Pumpkin... A Magical Pumpkin... In the middle of a forest. On an rocky island. Surrounded by salt water. And perpetual storms. And Mina doesn't like it.

I have a new concept for Mina and Fraser. Fraser would be the Knight/Consort of Queen Morgana. Mina is the Lady-in-waiting and has caught Fraser’s ever roving eye. The queen is not pleased, sends Fraser away for remedial discipline to The Baron who takes on the task in order to wipe away his debt to her. He traps Fraser into a coin, gives it to his minion to bury in a block of cement and to drop it into the deepest crevasse in the sea. But, by chance, the minion trips just as he is about to purchase the materials needed for the task while in the hardware store, dropping the coin in the process. Gus happens to be nearby and when he picks up the coin, Fraser’s being inadvertently gets transferred into him but gets locked away deep into his subconsciousness. However, when Gus is threatened, Fraser’s battle skills come out in order to protect his host at the same time imbibing him with Fraser’s healing ability.
Mina gets sent away to the island but she manages to track Fraser’s magical energy but can only see Gus. Believing he is Fraser, she focuses on escaping the island in order to be reunited with her lover.
When she does escape, she confronts Gus and Sirse, attacks her but Gus steps in between them. The combination of being caught between two magical spells (both combatants manage to slightly adjust the spells cast when they realize Gus will be the recipient) plus Fraser’s natural healing ability undoes the Baron’s own magical spell, thus separating him from Gus.

This could work, I see you have gotten to the Silver Denarians part of the Dresden files too. ^^
I can see The Baron having issues with how Frazier works, and after sever incidents that require a clean up crew. And/or Frazier making a pass at one of his vixen employees deciding enough is enough and making to teach the bear a lesson in humility.
As for Mina, I did have a possible alternative for how she got to the island, what do you think about this:
Mina, trying t get to Frazier goes on to try and break into the building housing The Baron, big mistake. As he has been preparing for the day Mab comes knocking, and sense she is clad in the aura of Winter the wards kick off, sending out a nuke level one time spell that blasts her into a pocket dimension island with no magic currents.
I do like the idea of Mina confronting Sirse and would like to establish that both parties are not in the wrong, but instead believe that they are doing the right thing for the one they love.

That can work as well. I’ve been reworking the story such that the universe I have is actually a catch-all dimension (everyone and everything ends up there; it’s the junk heap of the multi-universe) where once you’re in, it’s very hard for one to leave (unless you have a Universal Inter-dimensional Portal thingy issued out only to the Gatekeepers, of which The Baron was once part of but left due to “irreconcilable differences” with Management).
