Gideon checked the internet for jobs in his local area. One of the ads was for someone to help Santa Claus because one of the reindeer was sick. That sounded like just the sort of thing he could do. People told him he should check the criteria of a specific job before actually applying but he did not listen to them. The only thing he cared about was the wages.
This job offered thousands of dollars for only twenty-four hours worth of work. That would give him plenty of money for Christmas presents with enough money left over to get something good for himself. The job also offered health benefits. Gideon did not think a healthy young person like himself would actually need them but he was glad to have them anyway. The only downside was he would have to stay up very late one night. It was well worth the price. He filled out the application and sent it out in minutes.
Seconds later a sleigh arrived on his front lawn. Gideon gasped when he saw it. The speed at which it arrived alone should have been impossible but what seemed even more impossible was it looked just like Santa's sleigh. However, the most impossible thing of all was it had someone who looked just like Santa Claus inside it.
"Drink this!" commanded Santa hand him a glass vial filled with a bubbling purple liquid.
Gideon drank it immediately. Santa would not travel out to see him just to deceive him, or so he thought. Right after drinking it, antlers grew out of his head. His hair turned a brownish-white and grew down past his shoulders. His clothing turned brown and covered his entire body from the neck down. He found himself wearing a brown coat, brown furry pants, brown gloves, and brown shoes with a slight heel.
The outfits seemed too feminine for him, but Gideon soon learned why. His entire body changed from male to female with breasts and feminine curves which could be easily seen despite the winter clothing. A bell appeared around his, or her, neck, a short red and green skirt wrapped around her body, and a tail appeared behind her.
"There is one thing you still need," declared Santa Claus looking her over. "A new name, how about Grace?"
Grace just nodded. She had applied for the job, she was receiving plenty of money, and it was too late to back out at this point. It seemed Santa had a warped sense of humor. Grace was taken to the north pole when the elves explained what she needed to do to deliver presents to children all over the world in one night.
At this point changing back, if she could change back, was not her biggest concern. Grace wondered if she would be able to do her job. Then she was reminded of the health benefits she merely glanced over. She gained super strength, super speed, and a mind capable of figuring out how to legally leave presents behind in an apartment that did not have a chimney. This Christmas was not going to be a problem for her.
