Apple Enough — Description
As the holiday season draws closer, the nights lengthen and the snow deepens. Some would curse the sky--or, rather, lodge a formal complaint with the local weather office--but others are content to stoke the hearth and gather their loved ones.

Christmas present for because I know that he has a soft spot for these two sweeties!

Fun fact: Apple Bloom wasn't added until the picture was nearly complete (because I apparently hate myself and wasn't stressing enough as it is?), and I am so bloody happy with the highlights, you guys have no idea. Many thanks to and his infinite patience in explaining his thoughts on highlights and colour over and over again until it finally penetrated my thick skull.

Very happy with the end result barring a few egregious details. In a world of infinite time and do-overs, I'd move AJ and Rarity up a touch to preserve their size relative to the picture, but make room for a window somewhere.

Oh, and Corma? Look. The hat's in the picture. The bloody hat. You have no idea how much pleasure it gave me to include that damn hat you keep on about, and not put it on AJ's head. Take that!
