NESified - Mario Powerups — Description
Took me long enough to do another NESified thing. This one's technically more accurate than the last one, since while I used the correct colours last time, I didn't really adhere to all the technical limitations of the NES. Now, I don't entirely understand exactly how everything works, but I've heard that there's a limit of 3 colours that you can use per sprite. In some cases I've seen (like Mega Man), this doesn't seem to include black or white, but since the sprites I was working from only used three colours, including black and/or white, I decided to try and limit myself to three.

So yeah, here's almost every Mario powerup done in the style of SMB3. I used SMB3 instead of SMB because the sprite seemed a bit more detailed. The first two rows are taken from Mario's sprites in SMB3. Every other sprite here was edited from one of Mario's SMB3 sprites, except for Balloon Mario, who was edited from his SMW sprite, and Boo Mario, who used the SMB3 Boo as a base.
