..and some can still see the gateways opened of old by the horned one.. the dark pathways between worlds.. and the things outside of time that still wander back and forth through the worlds.. sometimes affecting realities as innocently as a mild change in the breeze.. sometimes carrying off or leaving fragments of animals or children.. not physical parts.. well.. usually not.. no, fragments of spirit or memory and often times sapping aetheric charge from nearby places in which it resides.. as they pass through.. and those that have seen them.. would not advise hanging around near these places.. for to encounter, or worse yet, to attempt actively to engage these entities is forbidden.. and for good reason.. for all that mankind has learned.. more has been forgotten.. much more never learned at all..
