Leonardo da Vinci would felt the best way to learn a medium, and to truly learn from your master was to stand beside them and paint with them stroke by stroke. Sadly H.R. Giger died before I was ever able to meet him, but his hand has guided my artistic tastes and development regardless.
This painting is acrylic on canvas with ink and pigmented mixes to add contrast and subtle color to each layer with a matte finish. I made this painting as a celebration of Giger's work, learning technique and subtlety from my master through his art.
