34 x 25cmMy homage to the life and writing career of Brian Jacques, author of the Redwall series.
The painting itself was a bit of an experiment with gouache. Normally I would really go to town with watercolour and only use gouache for highlights but this time I used the gouache for a lot of the body colour. I felt it work well in the furniture but not so much on the stone work. You live and learn!
