Rover age chart — Description
Most of these age charts have ages listed. This one doesn't as Rover doesn't know his true age, although I'll give an aproximation.

1. Rover was a happy baby but seemed to have a special knack for getting into things he wasn't supposed to. Whatever was in his mouth was inevitably something he wasn't supposed to have.

2. As a young boy he was friendly, outgoing and eager to learn. But he continued to find restricted areas and hidey holes where he didn't belong.

3. A violent accident found a young Rover in an alien hospital with a metal plate in his head, an artificial arm and no memories of his past. His only posessions; a cowboy hat and a small harddrive with old westerns. He is officially adopted by the individual who found him, an old Jssfloon by the name of Soorn. Rover is promptly sent to a Jssfloon school where he is the only offworlder. He meets a young Jssfloon Third named Flyspur, who is also rather out of sorts. His mechanical arm originally has a flesh-like covering over it to make it look more natural. But because of the rough and tumble boy he is it doesn't last very long.

4. Rover grows out of his old arm and gets a replacement. As a teen Rover begins to order his cloths made-to-order, copying his westarn heroes as much as possible. He works on Soorn's small farm but desperately wants to get off planet and is arrested several times for trying to stow away on outgoing vessels, usually dragging Flyspur along. While generally law abiding and courtious he has a habit of tresspassing, either on a dare or simply because the place looks interesting. And his 'let's see what this button does' attitude keeps him in the disaproval of the locals.

5. Rover finally gets his wish to venture into space by taking a job on a Jssfloon salvage vessel. He uses part of his pay to support an aging Soorn. But when the old Jssfloon dies he feels he can break free of the planet completely and buys his own ship, set on becoming a star trader and maybe finding Earth. Of course, he takes Flyspur along. Sometime during his salvage job he looses his left arm again and is given a replacement by a race with 'bigger on the inside' technology, giving him the ability to add any sized attatchments. He is downright delighted with this and from then on is constantly tweaking and adding to his arm.
