Forgiven — Description
While Darwin is in his hammock, recovering from his latest adventure (part1: [link] , part2: [link] ) he is utterly surprised when Polly wanders into the room and climbs up onto his lap. She had always taken a disliking to him, nipping at him whenever she got the chance, and after the whole mess with Queen Victoria she had taken to outright hiding from him. But for some reason she had decided that he wasn't so bad after all. He reached out a hand and touched the feathers on her back, getting a cooing purr in response. Pretty soon she had dozed off, curled up on the blanket. Darwin leaned his head back with a smile. It seemed he had been forgiven.
