Goodbye brother... — Description
Chester was enjoying life with his little brother until fate decided to take him away. One day, Samuel began to feel a bit off and he wasn't entirely sure why. He thought that maybe it was just nothing and that it would eventually pass, but as days past he began to feel worse and worse until he suddenly collapsed while he was doing something. A few hours later he woke up in his bedroom. He wasn't entirely sure how he got there or what had even happened. Then a doctor came in with a not so good look on his face followed by Grace. She already knew the news. The doctor came beside him and told him that he had a very mysterious illness that was slowly killing him. He didn't know why or how, but that's what was going on. Samuel didn't want to die, he had too many people in his life that he'd be leaving behind. His wife, his big brother, his sons, his granddaughters and grandson, and his niece and grandniece. He loved them all with all of his heart and he didn't want to leave them. At least, not yet, but fate unfortunately had different plans. Samuel was very scared and sad. He wasn't ready to go yet, he still had so much that he wanted to do and now he wasn't gonna be able to do any of it. The doctor informed him that they were working on a cure for his mysterious illness, but he feared that they may not make one in time. Samuel wanted to know why. The doctor said it was because he had only 4-6 months to live. Samuel couldn't believe what he'd just heard. He was going to leave this world in only a few months and there was nothing that anyone could do. It just wasn't fair, he'd hoped to spend the rest of his life with his family, especially his older brother. He'd hoped that they could die together when the time came, but now that was never going to happen. And it made him really sad, his brother was going to have to live the remainder of his life without him and the thought of all of that made tears start to pour down his face. Grace went over to his bedside and hugged him and comforted him.

A few hours later Chester came with tear filled eyes. The last thing he wanted was to lose his little brother. He went over to his bedside and hugged him before he started to cry. Samuel hugged him back and also started to cry. Chester didn't want to lose him and Samuel didn't want to leave him. A few minutes later Chester made him a promise, he promised that he'd help make his last months on earth the best he's ever had. And as days past he did everything to fulfill that promise. He fufilled that promise until Samuel became too weak to get out of his bed. It was then Chester knew that the time was drawing near. At around the fifth month was when Samuel's health really started to deteriorate and Chester made sure to spend as much of the time he had left with him. And then at the start of the 6th month the time came. The whole family came with broken hearts to say their goodbyes and Samuel had one last request for Chester. He wanted him to lay with him by his side and hum their mother's lullaby to him. Everyone's hearts broke even more, especially Chester's, but he did as his brother asked. He got onto his bed and gently laid by his side and hugged him and started to rub his shoulder and started to hum the lullaby while fighting tears, but he just couldn't. A few minutes later Samuel passed away in his arms. Chester burst into tears as well as everyone else. He couldn't believe that his brother was gone and that he was never gonna get him back. A week later his funeral was held and he was laid to rest. Chester already missed him dearly and he just didn't know what to do anymore. He visited Samuel's grave as often as he could and talked to him, but that didn't make him miss him any less because he was always going to miss him and nothing was going to change that.
