sometimes life is hard. sometimes there are things in life that we have no control over, and they overwhelm us. it's like sitting in a boat on the wild ocean, and being swamped by waves. all we can do is sit and wait for calmer waters; we need to hang on to God and hope for the best while we wait for the "breakthrough". this is dedicated to one of my most special friends, jan - when the waves are overwhelming, just remember you're not alone!
