Sundae — Description
What remains of the original Sundae prop/costume from The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald.

This is a foam latex and fur costume worn by Verne Troyer (aka. Mini-Me from Austin Powers). It originally had an animatronic head and tail that I don't have (could have possibly been destroyed to avoid copyright infringement similar to how companies destroy mascot costumes). The head I have is a foam latex cast from the original mold with arrows drawn on to signify the fur direction. Some fur has been glued onto the face which is great because it shows the method they used so it can be replicated!

I had Sundae in storage and the last time I was there I noticed that the heat in the unit had caused the foam latex to deteriorate, so I brought him home and built a really quick pvc frame for him to support the foam latex body. I also stuffed his body and filled his head and most of his feet with foam (except the main front paws that have handles inside that Verne held onto to walk).

I need to make molds soon for work so when I do I will make a mold of Sundae's head before it's lost to time. Sundae is one of my all time favorite characters, ever since I was a kid, and it's still very surreal that I own him. This was the only suit made for the show and every part can be screen matched.
