Welcome To Ruby Gloom Forever — Description
Ta-dah! It's my official entry for 's "New Poster" contest!

Oh holy SNOT this took a long time. Over the last three days, I've spent a grand total of 13 hours on this piece (4 hours for lineart, 9 for coloring), which is FAR MORE than any other piece of work I've ever tried to draw. EVER. Come to think of it though, I got this done a lot sooner than I thought I would. The deadline is August 15th, and here I got the thing done in three days. Hmm....

Anyway, I poured my heart and soul into this picture, and while there are several mishaps (some characters are too small - a problem with proportions that I've had for as long as I can remember - Misery's colors are a little off, etc.), I could really care less. If this picture doesn't inspire you to get into Ruby Gloom (or join the aforementioned club), nothing will. Seriously.

I have to go spend a few days recuperating now. I'll let you know when I can move my fingers properly again.
