Description So I scoured dA for this version of this thing, but I guess it was just my imagination because there wasn't anything of the sort on here.

HOKAY, so. Silent Hill. I've never actually seen Durarara!, so I didn't really mix and match the characters that correspond to each pose. I just got the base and decided "Hey, it hasn't been done, so..." and that's where the idea came from.

I'm not too happy with how Alex turned out, but then again, he's not my favourite and I've never played that game. I put at least two characters from each game and tried not to include villains, but I love Walter too dang much and it wouldn't really be the same without the Red Pyramid. I DO like how he turned out. Dem muscles plz.UPDATE 6.15: I have now completely updated this drawing. I still have the old version here -  - but this deviation had a long time coming for a redo. So here it is! The biggest differences I can see are with Alex (who has since way grown on me), the Red Pyramid (stock found here - E. Kripke Texture Stock by redwolf518stock ) and Lisa, whom I remember being nervous about drawing because I suck at drawing women xD

The lyrics that are strewn about are lyrics to From Where You Are , a song by Lifehouse. I LOVE THAT SONG. I was listening to it ALL WHILE MAKING THIS DRAWING. While I think the song can be used to describe all the characters, I guess I can hyper-analyze and try to explain the pairings with the words to the characters they're with.

Warning, spoilers be ahead.

I. Harry Mason (Silent Hill) - "So far away from where you are" - It might be able to explain the separation from both his wife and Cheryl. Y'know, that 'out of reach' feeling. I felt that it'd be best if he were at the top. He started it all. Well, not ENTIRELY, but he was in the first game, so it makes sense.

II. Joshua (Homecoming) - "These miles have torn us worlds apart" - Joshua was always running from Alex which was the manifestation of Joshua being dead the whole time and Alex feeling guilty about it. The 'worlds' part could refer to the Otherworld and such. I wasn't sure who to draw with Alex, but Joshua seemed to make the most sense.

III. Lisa (Silent Hill) - "And I miss you" - Her feelings of loneliness and her desire for Harry to help her might tie in with this verse. Lisa's head looks horrid, but she was the first girl I had to draw so I was nervous.

IV. Travis (Origins) - "So far away from where you are" - He's a truck driver, so he spends a lot of time on the road and away from everything familiar. His father also kept him far away form his mother - but that makes sense, since the crazy woman tried to GAS them both. Huh. He actually looks kinda good for a bigger, older guy. -snort- He doesn't LOOK older.

V. Vincent (3) - "I'm standing underneath the stars" - Besides the fact that Vincent doesn't really seem like the sentimental type, he could be underneath the stars in a more curious tone, almost like an astronomer. He's only an insufferable genius. But not TOO smart.

VI - Heather (3) - "And I wish you were here." - Regarding Harry's death and how she misses him, of course~ See, this song's easy to lump with Silent Hill; most of it's death. xD She was actually fun to draw; I know this pose is for guys, but she seemed most likely to be in that position; she's so hotheaded. She's, like, the manliest of the Silent Hill Protagonists. xD Censorship was kind to her (and me).

VII - Alessa (Silent Hill series) - "I miss the years that were erased" - She was forced to give birth to like the cult's evil god and her childhood got stripped away from her.

VIII - Anne (Downpour) - "I miss the way the sunshine would light up your face" - Anne's father was victimized (and potentially beaten within an inch of his life) by either Murphy or Sewell), and she remarked on how it hurt her to see such a nice man stuck debilitated in a wheelchair. I disliked her throughout the game until I saw what was really going down.

IX - Henry (The Room) - "I miss all the little things" - After being involuntarily locked in his room for awhile, he started to turn to anything to get to the outside world. He's also a little anal and attentive, as he's a keen photographer and pays attention to detail. I thought it'd be a little cute for him to be somewhat flustered at being under two girls, one with a skirt on. Then again, he had no problem peeking over at Eileen when she thought she was alone in HER room... I think I'd like Henry more if they chose a more human-sounding VA.

X - Walter (The Room) - "I never thought that they'd mean everything to me" - Talk about the little things. Walter's all about the little things, but to make a bigger picture, grand scheme. The doll Eileen gave him. That was a little thing. He kept it for a long time. His "mother" means everything to him and he'd do anything for her (obviously). Again, only legitimate villain on here, but I just love him too much.

XI - James (2) - "Yeah, I miss you..." - This is VERY self-explanatory. In fact, I love how this worked out. I was tossing the idea about and when this happened I was like "YES." I LOVE JAMES. He's a big doofus. A puppy that murdered his wife because he was confused and sexually frustrated. I love his devotion. I definitely connected to him the fastest of all the Silent Hill characters.

XII - Mary (2) - "And I wish you were here." - I almost drew Maria, but decided Mary would be more melancholy. Their lines are very fitting. I figured drawing her would be easier, anyway. I was right~

XIII - Alex (Homecoming) - "I feel the beating of your heart" - Again, just the pursuit of lost family members in the darkness of Silent Hill.

XIV - Murphy (Downpour) - "I see the shadows of your face" - I read that he had some deep regret over the death of his son. All throughout Downpour, he had flashbacks of his dead son and even encountered him in a part of the game - all the while, it was in Murphy's head.

XV - Pyramid Head (2) - "Just know that wherever you are... I miss you." - WHEREVER YOU ARE, I'LL FIND YOU AND RAPE YOU WITH MY KNIFE. ...Nah, just kidding. He strikes me as sorrowful, yet diligent. He was fun to draw and he didn't turn out that bad. In my opinion, anyway.

I don't own Silent Hill or DRRR!. And I'm not interested in Durarara, so don't bother.

Silent Hill (c) Konami
DRRR! (c) I dunno.
