The Lowdown On The Download

Reviews have been pouring in over Cappitron’s RomanceFormers valentine cards! All of these quotes are totally not taken out of context:

Yeah, it’s good to receive praise and devotion. And if not I WILL MAKE IT DEVOTION.

When I wrote the placement order of ‘ Prowl, Hound, Huffer’, it almost sounded like the blueprint for a stalker:
Step one: prowl outside home
Step two: hound person and follow them to work
Step three: place chloroform rag over mouth until person huffers
Step four: ???
Step five: profits!

Prowl: someone told me they were shocked that Prowl wasn’t suggested yet. In fact, so was I! At first you’re thinking that the card says something sweet like “You’re under arrest…for stealing my heart.”
BUT NO!
Prowl is an authoritibot no matter where he goes…it’s almost like he was built that way. Sorry young love, but the law don’t take holidays off!

Hound: if you’ve somehow eked by unphased and not totally soul-shattered by the series thus far, then, Hound’s card will be the brick hurled thru your fragile childhood! Oh Hound, holographic technology was not meant for this. I’ll bet actual money that someone seriously centered a TransPorner fanfic around this idea (bonus bucks if it’s actually entitled ‘Hound Pound Homograms’ ). At first you figured Prowl could be construed as offensive, but once you saw Hound, you knew he earned one hundred percent of the mature rating.

Huffer: he’s a realist kind of man…bot. It’s hard to refute Huffer’s logic: you can’t be disappointed if you actively set to ruin the date. In the show he knew that things wouldn’t end well, and it’s actually quite efficient to not build up for failure and simply accept it will be a failure. In that sense he’s the most productive Autobot, as opposed to the debt Wheeljack keeps putting ‘em in.

I was always uncomfortable when looking at Huffer. His arms were connected midpoint to his body, and look absolutely painful when he flailed his nubby seesaw stumps in foux attempts at normalcy. And it’s a pretty fitting card, I suggest you cut it out, seeing as it’s my gift to you for allowing me to use and abuse our favorite Transformers!

That’s the final stretch my art buddies. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve cried because we laughed. I thank all the comments and suggestions I received. I was more spurred on to complete these to read people’s reactions than doing the actual art. And hey! I actually accomplished all this before Valentine’s Day! Wait…that shows that I can accomplish crap instead of blaming it on chronic procrastination. So I mean, there’s like, fifty of these! Yeah! I’m totally gonna miss the deadline! Com’mon, just lemme sleep-in a little bit.
