Rat — Description

EDIT: Replaced the image. Right after I posted realised I made his skin way too dark, aimed for a very tan blonde but missed. I blame the color values between my computer and tablet being different... Fixed it now.
So one of my favourite things to do is come up with characters and little stories for them!
This guy here is from a story I've been working on for quite some time. It started as a one-shot i began in high school but i'm trying to work it out into a proper story as i've become attached. Even with all the very different ways his story has shifted and changed drastically since his story's inception.
So excuse me as I blab about him a little : )
Meet Rat!
that's not actually his name but he's lived as a street rat for as long as he remember and the nickname stuck. He can't really recall his birthname anyway, so whatever, he may as well use it.
His life has kinda sucked so far, this grand, very advanced (Sort of cyberpunk inspired) city is beautiful and all but it and all it's people have fallen onto hard times, the ones on the lower rungs affected more than others...
and this Rat is just trying to survive, stuck doing odd jobs as he tries to afford to live to see another day and raising enough to afford a better prosthetic hand than the cobbled together piece of sh*t he's stuck with.
Which is what gets him into what happens next. A job offer coming some woman in a far too clean suit that sounds too good to be true, but he's not in a position to question it. Not when what she offers him is life changing for a street rat like him...
And it IS life changing, but not in the way Rat wished for as he quickly comes to regret accepting the offer so hastily...
That is sort of the stories' hook but there is so much more to this so I may start sharing more of it as i figure out some of the finer details in the 'middle part' and work myself up to actually write the thing. Just couldn't keep it to myself.
I do eventually have to come up with a proper title for it though.
