Reason for switching sides/staying: Butter Jade still wishes to prove herself, as she had served Yellow Diamond before but was betrayed and, in return, betrayed Yellow Diamond's court for betraying her, leaving to join Canary instead and help her overthrow Yellow. Now that she is under RGD's rule, she feels their shared goal of overthrowing Yellow Diamond is easier to obtain.

Appearance: Butter Jade is tall, chunky and very busty, with her gem sat in her creamy yellow curly hair which she keeps tied back to some extent; though looser than before now that she has settled in. Her bangs cover one eye, and her curled hair draped over her thick shoulders. Butter wears a yellow dress which exaggerates her chest and thick thighs, and on the waistband is RGD's insignia. Over her shoulders she now wears a bolero jacket in colors that represent this fused alliance with PCD. On her feet are some flat shoes in similar colors, with a heart sat at the front.

Special Power: Verbal Hypnosis; with her honeyed tongue, she is VERY good at convincing people of her actions, deeds and motives... a bit TOO good.

Personality: Butter Jade is prideful but, most of the time, does not let her pride get the better of her. She keeps her calm and is able to get through most situations with a honeyed tongue. But she is weak physically (even though she can carry a tri-bladed scythe), and is easy to scare. She is dedicated and devoted to Canary Diamond (and, in extension, PCD and RGD), even if it means taking until the end of time to prove it, and her willpower is strong.
Brief History/Backstory: A diplomat between gems and other planets back on Homeworld, Butter Jade was a very prideful woman and yet had a very open mind. Whilst she was once a diplomat for Yellow Diamond, she was betrayed by stronger gems of the court who were close friends and cohorts of her own and, rather than simply running away, her pride took over and in the dead of night she assassinated her betrayers. Knowing she could never go back to work for Yellow Diamond after all this, or the other dominant Diamonds nonetheless, Butter Jade sought a means to get BACK at her old leader for having her old cohorts betray her in such a ghastly manner.

She had looked for many ways, but could not find one within her skillset. She was not strong, so she could not kill those close to Yellow Diamond, yet alone even DREAM of overthrowing her. She wasn't stealthy either, so spying was not her forte. However... it had suddenly clicked. She didn't have to be part of a major court, and being a diplomat, she knew JUST who to turn to.

It took a while but she tried to find means and ways to gain Canary Diamond's trust. Since Butter Jade was a KNOWN Diplomat, it took quite some time; but with some honeyed words and good deeds on the court's behalf, she had convinced members of the court to allow asylum, for the simple price that she was dedicated to them until the day her gem shatters. Hesitant but even more driven than ever, Butter Jade acknowledged this, and joined the Canary Court as a diplomat.
