Star Rider - Bottom Deck — Description
So my recent interest in deck plans has taken me into the Star Wars universe, with the Star Rider.

She is a DC-10 scout ship, built by Lantillian ShipWrights (the same company that produced the GX1 short hauler) and used exclusively by the Jedi Exploration Corps. The ship was intended to head out into space to discover new hyperspace routes, chart new regions of space, and uncover lost civilisations, a role for which she excelled at. Equipped with a Class-2 hyperdrive, numerous redundant systems, and four pairs of dual laser canons she could operate independently for considerable periods of time, with some of the best sensor and communication systems available. Her design included two pairs of wings (two horizontal and two vertical), all of which could move; the vertical pair folded back to give the ship a sleeker profile (for evasive manoeuvres or the ventral fin alone for landing), the horizontal pair folded up to reduce the ships footprint (for landing in spaceports or docking with other ships).
