Charm Union: Magic Winx — Description
Presenting, the improved Charm Union!

I've had these some of these designs just sitting around in my files for almost a year, whereas some others were completed anytime between the past few months up until last weekend! But now, I can put them all together and they finally can be a group! I've been wanting to redesign these girls since I first thought of them, and I feel these new palettes and designs do enough justice to satisfy me! I'm moving on to drawing their Charmixes, and hopefully that won't take nearly as long! I created the base myself, and I might adjust the anatomy a little but for now I don't really mind! I like the simple reference pose I came up with!

~ Some design notes. I adjusted all of their skin tones, eye colours, and hair colours to blend a little better with one another. Their outfit palettes were also modified a little, many times actually..!

~ Thalia and Lucy's designs remained roughly the same, with minor changes in the palettes, only because I love my purple-haired babies too much to change them significantly!

~ I tried to create an interesting design for Inganna because she had a lot of variations in design before I adopted her, and even afterwards.

~ Caprice looks more like a desert spirit, which is more appropriate than her previous disco diva lmao. I also shaved her head for backstory purposes, and plus it looks cooler!

~ I love Ramona's large, high-waisted culotte shorts, because I feel like there are never enough Winx designs with culottes!

~ Vivian looks a bit more delicate with her Belle-styled sleeves, and a less in-your-face shade of purple. Her hair is now longer and her bangs are pulled to the back and tied behind her head!

~ Ayrah looks less feminine than she used to with her old dress, and I decided for a slicked back hairstyle because I saw Dua Lipa wearing her hair like that and loved it lmao. It fits her new vibe of being this military-style badass who doesn't have time for games.

~ Elise exists now! Her old design never went further than palette planning and a base drawn for her. I didn't have any designs with fringe bangs or long hair down, or any flowing outfit elements, so they all went to Elise! She's your "there's more to me than my looks, I'll prove it" kind of girl, because she actually starts off only caring about her appearance. I also knew I needed a prominent green design, and so it all fits perfectly.

I'm very, very satisfied with these outcomes, and I think they all look a little more unique now! These are my fairies, my babies, they're a part of me I've had for a while I like to believe that each of their characters are parts of me I wish I had haha. As I said, Charmix is up next! Expect to see more of me this year!
