You Two...Two - 6 — Description

Sonogram day was upon them. After getting loaded in and driving to the clinic, Madison and Emmie enjoyed a very short wait (no blathering housewives tying up their doctor this time!) before getting called back. After dealing with a different nurse than before, Angela came waddling in, pushing the ultrasound machine. Somehow, they both thought she'd gained weight since they were last there.

Following the doctor's orders, Madison was the first up on the exam chair, stripping her shirt off. Angela gelled her up and moved the ultrasound probe across her belly, capturing scans of her womb's contents. With Madison cleaned off, Angela started counting on the screen...."one, two, three, there's four, five...yes! Five very healthy little ones! Well, five. I think. Yes. Five"

Madison spun her head over to Emmie, who was already rubbing her brow. FIVE babies? She met Madison's shocked expression, and wondered what Angela could have meant by "I think five."

Angela just happily poked at the screen and patted Madison's shoulder, as if this was some wonderful thing...
