Dedede VS Dedede — Description

I’ve played the Kirby games and anime respectively, and noticed that the King Dededes from each universe are polar opposites.
In the games, King Dedede is a heroic and dependable leader who protects his kingdom from evil. True, he can make some mistakes, such as having stolen a bunch of food in Kirby’s Dream Land, but those days are behind him, and he’s become a much better person, going from Kirby’s foe to his friend.
However, the anime Dedede is nothing like his game counterpart, and is a greedy, pathetic manchild who treats the people of Cappy Town, and his right-hand man Escargoon, like garbage! How this tyrant hasn’t been banished or even executed for his sins, I’ll never know! True, he had some funny moments, but that doesn’t excuse the fact he’s a toxic scumbag who orders monsters to torments his subjects on a daily basis! The Dedede from the games would never do this.
If these two chonky penguin kings met, I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t get along at all!
