Monuments — Description

"Blades of grass stick and grow from the ribs of a dead world.
Reaping the reward of metal meat, sinking into the earth.
Rusting with spilled spoils o'er their kingdom.
The monuments we leave behind will not be our hearts.
They will be whatever remains."
I wanted to do some studies on rusty metal, and so I collected several images from the internet and made a collage with my references. After doing that, I went and tried my best to make it into something more guided and less chaotic with digital art Making sure to 100% draw everything and leave no trace of the original collage. I usually either just wing it for my landscapes or use a reference, but I thought it would be cool to try something new.
Before that I drew the metal sheets image. The bottom was just copy pasted from the top, And overall it was drawn at a very high resolution.
