DZXTH: Tagiru's Rant — Description
This is pretty much one of my opinions on the ending of Hunters.

I've truthfully had something like this planned since we heard Hunters would end at 25 episodes, and since I've looked up Shinji's rant from the dub of Neon Genesis Evangelion: [link]

Interestingly enough, there does seem to be some similarties to both endings, at least starting with the Super Mario Galaxy like planetoid everyone's standing on. I suppose in this sense we should count ourselves lucky that Tagiru wasn't an unlikable, depressing emo-kid.

I'm so giving Tagiru a Penguinmon XW for his Sparrowmon Type Digimon after this.

Then there's the rant itself, which is pretty hilarious (since it comes from a main character's mouth) and I think reflects somewhat the mood of the Digital Fanbase regarding Hunter's last episode.

I dunno if Toei tried a Gainax Ending on us or what, but I still say Arresterdramon was meant to be an EVA nod.

That said, trippy-open-ending ending it was, I'm not complaining.
