I'm a fan too. Go easy, OK? There have been other text art submissions based on quotations not original to the artist that've received DDs. It's not necessarily about where the words came from (though sometimes it is important). It's about presentation.
Do you like how it's organized? Do you like the AB pattern of the colors? Do you like the type face? Focus on that.

Then again, a DD is NOT an award; it is solely a 24 hour feature, something a Gallery Moderator sees fit for being seen on a wider scale. It is NOT solely based on artistic merit, contrary to popular belief.

Right, you merely commented that it didn't deserve a DD when you should've read the relevant FAQ: If you have a problem with a particular Daily Deviation feature, do NOT leave your disapproval among the other comments on the piece. It is disrespectful to the artist featured, the person who chose it and/or the person that suggested it.
