Gate — Description

Gate is a Reploid scientist and main antagonist of Mega Man X6. He used to be a colleague of Alia. His goal is the creation of the ultimate Reploid and a new world order for only supreme Reploids. He is completely devoted to his work and will do whatever it takes in order to achieve what he desires most. Gate is the creator of the eight Nightmare Investigators, the Zero Nightmare, High Max, and the Nightmare Virus itself, he is also partially responsible for the resurrection of Sigma.
In this headcanon of The Legacy of Chris Thorndyke in Deviantart, Gate is usually Alia's colleague, working on a Reploid research institute that would help many people and Reploids, but until something bad happened in the MMX6 arc, that he was working under the Maverick Devil King, Sigma's footsteps as Dr. Crygor's granddaughter, Penny, was kidnapped by the Maverick Devil King and Gate, under Sigma's control, was planning to convert Penny into a Maverick, by removing every last piece of flesh, blood, and bone and force her to destroy the Maverick Hunters, but when Gate was defeated by Rock and Bass, who would come to rescue Penny from being converted into a no-heart-and-soul Maverick, Gate's plans has came to an end, before any of those events happens, much to Sigma's fury.
But he is back on revenge on Mega Man & Bass, but he lost consciousness later. He joined them after a truck pursuit in one of the mission in CN: Akumas Christmas Special (just my imagination).
