Space Extravaganza entry - September — Description
A thousand apologies for the lateness of this. Our good scanner was kind of melted and the other was completely coated in ash, and the air in the house is kind of not breathable. I finally got access to a scanner, though not a terribly good one, so here's my entry.

Yaotzin doesn't tend to get a terribly warm welcome around people, so his vacations are typically out in the wilderness in various places. In this particular situation, he's out nature-watching and probably collecting the tiny spring flowers for his indoor garden. He's also been setting a few traps for wild boars, and he's apparently brought himself some marshmallows. As you can see, he is of the opinion that one should roast marshmallows over a more controlled flame than the average campfire.
The grabby thing wrapped around him is Bwyell, a shade who is of the opinion that private/isolated places should be used for something more interesting than marshmallow roasting.
Technically, Yaotzin doesn't need the winter clothes- he can heat himself up enough to stay comfortable. Thing is, that leads to melted snow dripping all over him, soaking into his pants, and just generally making itself annoying- and he's started more than a few snow avalanches by walking under a snowy tree with his body heat turned up a bit too high. Turns out snow and fire don't mix terribly well. The snow clothes keep his body heat in and prevent most of those issues, aside from the puddles that tend to form under his boots if he stays still for long enough.

Last month's theme was vacations, and the bonus was accessories.
Does the knife count as an accessory, or perhaps the shade crawling over him?
