Bluecoats - futuristic — Description
Direct from Canton, OH: Post apocalyptic symphonic jazz!

Following a suggestion and several requests, this futuristic corps uniform is based on the idea of what "Bluecoat" is and what it might be in the future. Bloo was founded with the assistance of the Canton, OH police - hence the name - a reference to law enforcement. In the course of my far-fetched redesign, I "borrowed" a certain look from a variety of "futuristic/post-apocalyptic" police uniforms (i.e., Robocop, the NYPD in "5th Element", etc.) Essentially, the story here is that, in a rather dark future scenario, these are modified hand-me-down (used) police uniforms modified to outfit the local youth drum corps. Furthermore, these uniforms also offer protection from projectiles and incendiary devices - In the future, drum corps fans will grow increasingly disgruntled. Many shows end in unfortunate riots involving injuries from amp cables.
