Description
"i don't get what the big deal about this statue is. it's just like all the other viking stuff in this museum." jack sighed as he pulled out his phone to scroll through it.
"the big deal? the big deal?! do ya know who this is?!" merida exclaimed. jack and rapunzel gave her a look. merida sighed in frustration.
"this, is the legendary chief of berk and his trusted best friend, the night fury! it's said that they had a bond so strong they were like brothers! the two fought in so many battles together and the only reason they always won was because they always had each other's back!" she exclaimed loudly, getting other people in the museum to glance their way.
Rapunzel and jack looked at the statue. "so...why do they both look so...not happy?" rapunzel asked.
"well, it might be because of their last battle. it was one so fierce and required such a sacrifice for these two." Merida told them. "it's said that one day, a horrifying entity came from the sky and wiped out everything in its path. this rider and his dragon fought for their people and other dragons like they never had before. supposedly that sword was the only weapon that could hurt it along with the power of a night fury so it was almost destiny that these two were together. when all hope was lost, these two combined their power and were able to lock away the entity in some kind of magical prison. only...it came with a price. in doing so, the two were turned to stone." merida told the two.
"why did they turn to stone? what was the point of that?" jack asked. merida got all excited. "because, since this was the last night fury, only these two can defeat it! and the legend also says that the entity is supposed to return in this time! when these statues begin to crack, that means the end is coming and these two will be needed again!" she said.
"so...you're saying that those two are the real chief and dragon trapped in stone? that would make them like captain america..." rapunzel said.
"merida...it's just a legend."
the three friends continued to argue as they walked out of the room the statue was in. at that moment, the stone began to crack
