They say you look weird. They wonder how you can live with only a half of your body. Some even say you're disgusting. And I've heard they called you a "walking head"...
They all still think you're an animal. It's no matter that you can speak - even my own brother, after hearing some words you said, asked me "What's the trick?".
How could any of them believe you are a person?
I know you are.

I wouldn't care what they say at all - but if they'd find out...

I don't see a way to prove you're not a pet. You will never be a person for them. And when they'll find out what we're doing - we'll certainly get killed.

Hard to believe that you can lay so peacefully right now.
Sleep well my little one. Maybe you're too young to understand...

Those are my OC: Ain and Ida. Ida is young, I'm not sure if she's 18. She somehow appeared in centaurs' world (no, even I don't know how and it's not important really).
If you can't guess what these two might be killed for - simply imagine that a small town society of centaurs is not any more tolerant with zoophilia (and breaking nature/gods'/God's laws) than any other small society in the world...

Ain is the only centaur character I've ever created. And his story is so far the only one I've created that I still can't find a happy ending for I feel pangs of conscience for that, cause I really like Ain...;( A sad story? -by me, who hates "Romeo and Juliet", how come?!?
And don't try to sway me - there's nothing romantic in dying together! Young people want to live, and when they're in love - they want to live happily ever after with the one they love...
I like my OC's and I think they deserve a nice happy ending, so I'm not finishing this story yet and hope I'll find some good idea in the future.

As for the picture itself - I love the way those legs and arms came out!!! ^_^ I don't like their faces though, I think it's a bit too bright, especially Ain's:/
