...that a .cskin file is nothing else than a .zip archive of your skin's folder?
7-Zip is able to open such files (WinRAR or WinZip can't). So you would be able to extract the skin with it. But that isn't necessary because of the following reasons...
After a doubleclick on a .cskin file, CAD does the following:
- unzip the skin folder and subfolders directly to CAD's "Skins" folder
- if it finds a font ("Fonts" folder), it prompts to install the fonts (Vista offers the contextmenu here, while you have to do it manually in XP)
- if all is done, CAD restarts and automatically switch to the new skin
