And honestly, this is hilarious.
I don't know why, but I always imagine the CMC as high schoolers and the Mane 6 as in their 20's. It makes sense, since the Mane 6 all have steady jobs and live on their own, while the CMC are still in school, but at that age when you have to figure out what to do with your life. But, because they're ponies, they're shown at younger ages.
