entry image to the Halo 5 Fan Art Contest.Being a fan of the series, I never actually taken the time to draw Master Chief, so I took the competition as a good excuse to do so.
After a few thumbnails and sketches, I settled on this one. The initial intention was to depict a scene where he wouldn't normally be, but I wanted to tell a story (as every portrait does).
The final image result is a personal interpretation of who Master Chief is to me, or better yet how I remember him.
Done in Clip Studio Paint and Photoshop
