Description
Last night was very eventful for Samson. And no, that's not what you think. Sam runs his own night club called 'The ZOO' and while at work, he likes to join the dancing crowd.ย
Samson is a lion, just thought I'd throw it here :3

at first glance i thought he was a martian mouse too.ย As far as poses goes, it doesn't really matter with me. I mean when you think about it, how many normal and believable poses can an artist pull off before it starts getting weird and desperate? When I was in theater class back in middle school we had to do this chair exercise where we need to pull off as many poses as possible and everyone got a turn. by the time it got to be my turn, I had a very difficult time with it and i almost fell over in the process trying to be original. the bottom line is, poses shouldn't be copyrighted because everyone has done them at some point in their lives. i mean, how can you copyright a pose of someone sitting normally in a chair?ย however, the general design of the character should be. that is yours and it shouldn't be claimed by anyone else.

Okeeeey I don't know what's this all about but I will say this. The pose was drawn by me long time ago and I used it on my martian mouse character. Recently I found the old sketch and I decided to use it on other character because, well, I could.ย

A quick glance and I thought it was a Martian mouse. I think I've seen this pose before. o.รด
Was it Van or something Blackstorm had draw?
Anyway. The drawing is really nice. So lovely.
I like this lion. He's so big and fluffy I wanna cuddle him a little. ^.^ But I would not write on him.
Oh heck. It reminds me of the ragdoll girl I was playing around with a while back. Haven't done anything with her since then.

You have, I reused the old sketch I did back in 2009 or something ^^ Just thought the pose was too cool to scrap it! It was Van's cousing, Einari the grey mouse with emo like hair
Thank you Jiv ^3^
Yea I always wanted to have a lion character because I would have an excuse to draw big fluffy mane OwO
oh you should draw her at some point or send me a ref pic so I could draw her as well

Yes, I knew it!!! I love that you re-invented the pose because as you said, it was too cool to scrap.
And we do love lions, don't we? ^.^ It's really grate that you have him as a character and you can fullfill your need of fur and fluffy mane. ^.^
You really want to? Neat, I'll see if I manage to doodle her a little. I remember the biggest problem I had was the designing of her clothes. I think I can leave that up to you if you want.

I'm planning to do the same thing with other sketches, maybe a little refreshing will do them good ^^
Indeed, more fluffy manes here I come :3
Yeah sure, it will be cool to do that
