Just an idea somebody left in my ask box on Tumblr.
They relationship must be pretty stressful especially when both can die any moment… Like during Venice mission, Angela was probably worried sick and during liberation mission of King's Row Gabe was just an anxious wreck (( even if both of them that their other half can take care of themselves but still..))
Those last years of Overwatch were also last years of their relationship because, in my head at least, it'd been not going that well between Ange and Gabe. They acre about each other so much but they are so incompatible... My heart...

The eyes speak more then words to me and the raw emotion you've captured here is downright heartbreaking.

I think it was, because in the archives it says that King's Row was 7 years ago and Blackwatch flop 8 years ago so a year difference.
