This is what happens when I look at too many memes for too long
In 1793, as Arno and Élise worked to topple Robespierre and his Reign of Terror, they managed to find a bit of free time. Élise took Arno to artist Joseph Ducreux, whose art was famous for their use of less formal and more fun expressions. Ducreux gladly agreed to paint a picture of Arno. Arno, as you can see, is not amused. Élise on the other hand, has to try desperately to hide her laughter.
