I suppose, in a way, she does.
Oh, I don't believe she would be so crass as to fall in love with you, but her obsession with you goes quite a way beyond "scientific curiosity."
Watching you over these monitors, cheering when you triumph, cringing when you make a mistake; isn't that, in its own way, "love"?

Well Alphys has an interest in the human according to the answer. As she was watching us according to the securiton (sorry mettaton) So she has an interest. Still it's nice to know that someone does care. I mean Alphys is a Bisexual (She crushes on Asgore) , nerdy, lizard girl but I say that with affection. Just nice to know that she has an interest even if it's minor.
