Actually, from the intro video I bet at some point you have to fight Roll in MM10 (she is infected after all).

this just adds fuel to fire that some think that Zero is actually Roll that's been converted to the dark side somehow and re-converted to the good side... Which would make the X games so much more differnt if Roll is Zero and Mega Man is X.
Where Roll is captured by Dr. Wily given massive upgrades and has to fight Mega Man, and then Mega Man has to get an upgraded body like X has, but after Mega Man has defeated Wily and sealed him and Zero away for awhile, Mega Man is broken down and rebuilt into X... which would explain why X don't remember Dr. Light or Wily. New memory board and emotion chip. Would also explain why Dr. Wily mentions "That bothersome blue-bomber." as mysterious voice alluded to in one of the x games.

yeah, it would also explain why roll and zero both have a penchant for close ranged weapons... and maybe her voicebox was altered after she got the Roboenza much like people do when they have a cold, only that the change was permanent.
