This was a caramel mud cake made for a friends going away party. I had made a base cake for it to sit on top of but it ended up a little too big, so at the party we cut up the base cake first but as for the turtle it didn't actually get eaten at the party so it was sent back home with my friend. A few days later I got a photo of the poor decapitated little thing 😕***
I just want to say a huge thank you to all of you for the amazing response this cake has received. I truly appreciate it.

Yes... It is cake! Lol,
It took me 2 1/2 days to make if I remember correctly,
It tasted as good as it looked!
The shell was painted (not airbrushed)... You can see the stuff in the background
The sand is crushed Milk Arrowroot Biscuits
