This is what I have grown to believe, too. I used to be anti-science; evolution is the devil, dinosaurs are the devil, the Big Bang is the devil's lie, global warming is the devil's lie, and so on, and so forth.

It wasn't until the devil turned out to be my child rapist pastor that I started to open up my mind more and more. I also went to college to learn why our farm was failing, and found out that climate change was the reason we were struggling to maintain topsoil. All those lies I had been told my whole life started unwinding.

And funny enough, it was the video game Wolfenstein that got me to fully realize that science is the study of God's creation and how we get closer to Him. The new games have a Jewish Rabbi character from a secret sect that developed technology for the sole purpose of getting closer to God, and it blew my mind to realize how correct he actually was. Studying our universe is studying everything God has given us. And when we are in awe of, and fear things like the atom bomb, we are witnessing just a fraction of God's power and strength, turning it into something that can be touched and seen.

Science doesn't really concern itself with God. Its purpose is to study the material universe, which God exists outside of.

Right... it's just when you STUDY that creation... no god can be found.

If you read the Bible, there is scripture that describes:

The shape of the Earth (Isaiah:40:22)

Physical heavens subject to decay (Psalms 102:25,26 & Ecclesiastes 1:4)

What holds the planets up (Job 26:7)

Isolating the sick (Leviticus chapters 13 & 14)

Cleaning up after touching a dead body (Numbers 19:11 & 19)

Waste disposal (Deuteronomy 23:13)

And many more

When you learn about physic, creation of universe, Big Bang, you realise there are something who is not make randomly. The universe didn't came from nowhere, by accident.

And when you see the perfection of galaxies, solars system, planet, animals, plant, even the cells, the atoms and particles, you can see how it's perfectly made.

A little bit of science drive away from God, but a lot of science bring us closer from God.

Except it isn't "perfectly-made", and the fine-tuning of certain parameters can easily be explained in natural ways.

… how? Like, you can’t even bother pretending to set up that pretense. Anthropicism doesn’t actually answer any of the questions it was created to address.

β€œThe universe is established with fundamental principles suitable for the development of life because there’s nothing special about this universe and there are Aleph-null minus one universes in existence, each with slightly different fundamental principles, and we just happen to be in one that allows for the development of life! We’re an accident of statistics! An inevitability!”

That’s the entire β€œargument.” It never even pretends to exist how the universe came into being in the first place, because doing so forces the speaker to admit in something greater which violated all the laws of physics to create it.

It isn't "we just happen to be in one that allows for the development of life", it's "only ones that allow the development of life will develop life". Which is just common sense. There's no "we just happen to be" at all.

You literally just described β€œwe just happen to be,” to the word. β€œWe’re here because we’re here; if it were impossible, we wouldn’t be” is tautological nonsense that purposely skirts the actual issue.

"we just happen to be" implies that luck was involved. I'm pointing out that no luck is necessary at all.

The existence of the Universe violates the laws of physics. Sounds like a bit of luck to me.

Matter and energy can’t be created or destroyed.

Except 13.6 billion years ago, where all matter and energy in existence magically was created.

So where from the natural ways?

And yes there are mistakes, anomalies, weirds things, but if that didn't exist, how we could know what is good or not.

And about "perfection", it's our human perspective.

Take somes animals who look horrific for us, they exist yet.

Most of the founders of modern science became scientists because they wanted to learn more about God's creation. They understood that such a wonderful universe was designed and they wished to understand how God had organized it. They expected that a universe designed by an intelligent being would display order and they wished to understand it. They didn't think: "I don't understand how this works, so I'll just say God did it and leave it at that," like so many atheists (or antitheists) claim Christians say when they don't understand something. Instead, they said, "I don't understand how God designed this to work, so I am going to study it so that I can learn more about the wonders of God's creation."

...You do realize that it is the right-wing who denies science, right? The right are even anti-vaccination and are making themselves incredibly sick by drinking unpasteurized raw milk. Though, I didn't know any conservative farmers who drank raw milk. That one seems to be a thing for the tender hand suburban and city conservatives. Probably because we all have raised animals and know animals lay in their own feces and such.

Other things the right-wing denies: evolution, climate change, dinosaurs (archeology and geology), flouride, "chemtrails", and I'd even throw in the decades of LGBT research because it proves gay and transgender exists, even in children. The only time a conservative believes in science is when it fits their agenda, otherwise they believe all scientists are biased, working for the devil, have a leftist agenda, and so on.
