Well, that's Kermit done. (Though I might still need to tweak a couple of things...)
Much thanks to ecl and the rpf forum users and also the Puppet Nerd youtube channel.
To help future amphibian architects in answering a question I had during my process:
I used seven foam shapes for the body about 6 cm (2.5 inches) width each.
