Description
Here it is folks, my influence map. From left to right;George Perez- The man can really make a sequential story and make enough details to a large group of people to identify each other.
Scott Kolins- I Love the synergy and crackle of his Marvel work and the sketchiness of his designs. I really like sketchy design work.
The Legend of Korra- This is a beautifully made show that wastes nothing and writes anything that can make them out due one episode after the other.
Superjail!- Admist all of the gore lies one of the most wonderfully animated shows I've ever seen.
The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack- One of the funniest show and one of the first shows that displayed a loose sense of character models being off but not in an error way, just for aesthetics. This slot could also count for Adventure Time and Regular Show.
Symbionic Titan- Genndy Tartakofsky is an animation genius. You can never call his action scenes boring and he really knows good plot and character development too. Also out of all his shows I think this is my favorite next to Samurai Jack because the visuals are always stunning.
Bruce Timm- I love the art deco design of his, granted all the designs tend to look alike after awhile he's still a great artist with the way he colors his work too.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic- This show is a really great demonstration of positive female role models and how to use flash animation properly (unlike the anus atrocity "Johnny Test") and I just frigging love the character Derpy Hooves.
Spectacular Spiderman- This show was awesome, it had a great design team, great animation and great story lines. This was, as everyone knows, canceled too soon and replaced with the Johnny Test of Marvel Cartoons, "Ultimate Spiderman".
Star Wars the Clone Wars- Granted I'm losing interst in it and the stories can be ok, the art style is really impressive as most CGI cartoons don't even have such great artwork backing it. Even the lightening and atmosphere is impressive.
Kenneth Rocafort- I really love his work on "Red Hood and the Outlaws" its the main reason I buy it, the second is that its like a good summer blockbuster and over time I've really grew attached to the characters.
Scott Pilgrim- The artwork grew to awesome levels (pun unintended) over time and the story was a great one too.
Dragon Ball Z- I really love his work, its so energetic and the fight scenes really inspire me
