Seventeen Steps... — Description
oil painting on canvas. 30x30. Inspired by a self portrait of a young women here on DA, [link] ,but painted without her permission. I did ask, but have received no reply. It looks like she hasn't been here for more than a year. I am not in the habit of painting portraits of people without their permission, but I loved the feel of this piece and had to paint it. I hope she doesn't mind.
Update 3/23/13...She has seen the painting and says " I saw the painting on your page, and i really like it! " and that makes me a happy artist.
