Throwback Thursday: Excursion 1994 — Description
NO I DON'T KNOW WHERE THE REST OF THE GIRL OR THE UNICORN'S LEGS ARE. Ha ha ha figured I would get that out of the way before anyone pointed that out XD

And I realize the unicorn is terrifying, ha ha, but as a girl, I didn't like my unicorns as prissy prancing ponies- I liked mine as muscular, hulking beasts!

For today's Throwback Thursday, thought I would post something from 1994. The back is dated 9/20/1994, which means I had recently turned 13 years old and started 8th grade when I had painted this. Without pulling out a ruler, I'm guesstimating it's total size to be about 11x14, and it was painted with acrylics ( the paint is actually starting to crack in some areas ).

The girl and the unicorn were characters of my own creation ( afraid I can't remember their names ) and the wolf is Arak, from the animated film "The Flight of Dragons", which was a favorite of my brother's and mine as children. I drew Arak pretty obsessively for a number of years, until "Balto" came along and turned my wold upside-down, LOL.
