Description
Directions -Download and save so that you have this for reference later. That way, if you do not have the software you can go and get it. After all, free software is a good thing.
Here you go, what I hope is a simple tutorial on how to make avatars or other gif images.

I am using Gif animator too but the frames I want to put in aren't showing up in any of my files, do you know why?

hey im a little stuck. i am trying to make it a second before it changes frame (theres only two) but no matter how high or lo i set the duration, it dosnt sit how i want it. what am i doing wrong?

How large a setting are you using as it is in milliseconds not full seconds.

never mind! i worked out that you have to select each frame how long you want them to stay. problem solved!

Good. I suggest you title instead "Animated Avatar Tutorial", it would better reflect the content ("Why one would need a tutorial to make a static avater", I thought before coming in) and attract more people.
I saw a recommendation on Beneton Movie Gif , I haven't tried it yet, but it cannot be worse than this old MS Gif Animator!

Additional remark: animated avatars are distracting for the eye, so don't abuse them!
Your is quite OK, but I saw stroboscopic avatars that are really repulsive!
